Questions
Is PhantomLynk an antivirus?
No. It works alongside Microsoft Defender or your antivirus. Antivirus hunts for malware. PhantomLynk fixes the settings, open doors and privacy leaks that make you easier to attack or track.
Can a fix break something?
PhantomLynk only offers one-click fixes for changes that are safe for almost everyone, and it records each one so you can undo it. Riskier changes, like turning on drive encryption, come as guided steps instead, so you stay in control.
Why does it ask for administrator permission?
Scanning never needs it. Some fixes change system-wide settings, like the firewall or Remote Desktop, which only an administrator can change. PhantomLynk asks once, only when you apply one of those fixes.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
You keep Pro until the end of the month you paid for, then move to Free. Your fixes stay in place, and the scan, score and guides keep working.
Does it work on Mac?
Not yet. PhantomLynk is for Windows 10 and 11.
